As children, I’m sure we all can remember a time when our mother or grandmother forced us to put on an outfit that we didn’t want to wear or did our hair in a way that we didn’t feel suited us. We would stare in the mirror for hours and ask ourselves, “why do I have to wear this? This isn’t me!” As we got older, we were able to have the freedom to make these style choices and express ourselves the way we wanted to, and at the time, it was the best feeling ever.

MY OBSESSION WITH BURGERS

Question: when you crave food, what kind of food is it? I mean, when you desperately want to go out to eat, what is that special item/dish you are seeking? Mine is pretty simple – A BURGER! I know, pretty pedestrian isn’t it; but when I go out, I am more often than not seeking that perfect burger – not the fast food kind - but the type of burger that you just know you can’t duplicate at home.

As an advertising guy, I can almost describe the whole burger experience in a business format. Seriously!

Your shoes are the first thing people subconsciously notice about you. I guess that means we should wear nice shoes. I’ve got to be honest; I never look at a person’s shoes.

If you sit for more than 11 hours a day, there's a 50% chance you'll die within the next 3 years. A little scary when you think about it – sitting at a desk all day…sitting in front of the TV when we get home…hmmm.

MILLENNIALS, YOU, and TRAVEL

Around five or so years ago, particularly in our playground of Orlando Florida, everyone was shouting to the rooftops that Millennial's were traveling differently…that they wanted itineraries that were less tour heavy…that they wanted to be more active on their trips, and to do things like bike through the city or towns they were visiting like Altamonte Springs. It was a glimmer of how travel was about to change.

Do you like to read? I do, but I find there just isn’t enough time to get to the books. My son tells me that I need to get into audio books, and he’s right, but there is just something about curling up in a nice soft chair with an iced tea and reading a book. My family knows I like to read books, so they buy a lot – and I am way behind.
