December 2016

I always find the end of a year to be bittersweet. I am excited for what’s to come next but also can’t help thinking back to what we accomplished this past year, all the memories we’ve created, the new partnerships we’ve formed. A year end means time for recollection, for reevaluating, for remembering – at least that’s how I have always viewed it. There is no question that as you get older time seems to slip by faster. At 61 I find that as each day goes by I have a desire to challenge myself more and achieve more in my life. That could be in regards to my personal life as well as my agency life, though neither are that far apart from each other.

2016 was no question one of my best years. I am so lucky to be married to my best friend who decided to join me in the advertising agency world; Pam has without a doubt had much to do with a very good year for the company. She has helped broaden all of our perspectives on life and has made 78Madison better on all counts. While I have truly enjoyed my time as an advertising executive for the past 38 years, from Madison Avenue to Orlando, I can honestly say that 2016 has been the cream of the crop.

There have been a lot of favorite moments for the company in 2016, but I won’t bore you with the list; I don’t want this blog to be like one of those 3 page letters we tend to get at Christmas that outlines every breathing moment of a particular family member’s life. Suffice to say 78Madison has been blessed with a great staff and great clients, and we look forward to 2017.

Happy Holidays from all of us at 78Madison.
